Regional Active Participation (RAP) network

Is a growing network in the North East of England including professionals crossing all sectors and age groups of children and young people. From your local health service to your local strategic partnership, more and more people are required to consider the views of children and young people and involve them in decision-making.

The RAP group is in partnership with Participation Works, a consortium of six agencies who are national experts in children and young people’s participation. For more information about Participation Works, please click the link at the bottom of the page. RAP has an extended membership of workers from across the region who meet together to share good practice and promote participation work in its wider sense. RAP currently meets for half a day every quarter, alternating between Government Office North East in Newcastle and a venue in the south of the region.
