‘Introduction to Keyfund’ Training
‘Introduction to Keyfund’ training qualifies you as a Keyfund Facilitator and a member of a Keyfund network. Once you have attended you can add the Keyfund process to your youth work toolkit to enhance the work that you are already doing with Young People.
The Unit is hosting the training session on 19th March 2012 9.30am – 4.30pm at their offices in Felling, Gateshead. RYWU-NE is the licensee for Keyfund Participate NE.
Keyfund Participate NE is open to young people aged 11 to 25 who live in the North East and are engaged with or wish to be engaged with the Regional Youth Work Unit North East’s designated programmes, which are currently:
Truth About Youth – Challenging and changing the negative perceptions about young people. To engage with this programme a press release must be issued about the Keyfund projects work, illustrating how it has challenged and changed negative perceptions.
North East Youth Network – Providing young people with a voice to influence decisions on issues which affect them.
somewhereto_ – Giving young people the opportunity to access spaces to do the thing they love doing.
NE-Generation – Changing the way young people and the cultural sector work together in the North East.
